Olde World Traders and Reed Design Group are one in the same:  Ray and Brenda Reed.  After retiring from long careers, we started Reed Design in 1996 from our home.  Our first showroom was in Dallas at The World Trade Center.  We added a location in Canton, Texas in 2004.  After a few years, we finally moved our entire operation to Canton.  In March of 2012 we moved into our present location - a beautiful historic  building built in 1893 on Canton Historic Town Square.  It took us three full months to completely remove the walls and flooring and refinish the building where the store now resides.  It was hard work filled with headaches, injuries and lots of money...but it was well worth the effort for it  is now home to Olde World Traders.

    We try to display a large range of skills in our store. We take pride in our work, which we hope is evident in our antique replicas and custom designs. We try to go far beyond just creating furniture and architectecturals that resemble others you see elsewhere but we try to create both a classic and timeless piece destined to be an heirloom. We use age-old techniques, and breathe soul and lasting-quality into our products.
